ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Dr. Harvey Sisler, Ph.D. is a native of
Cleveland, Ohio and earned his Bachelor of Science and Masters Degrees
in Music Education from Kent State University, Ph.D. in Education from
Case Western Reserve University and a Masters in Guidance and
Counseling from John Carroll University. He has taught and counseled
in Northern Ohio schools for over 35 years. He has done much research
in home based businesses partly because of the difficulty he and
others have encountered in finding suitable employment over age 50. He
is an advocate for providing alternate solutions to this problem. He
